The disorders classified as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are increasingin frequency in the United States, with more than 35,000 casesdiagnosed annually. In recent years, there have been numerousadvances in our understanding of the biology of these disordersand in their treatment. In this article, these advances willbe reviewed in the same order as a physician should considerthem when seeing a new patient with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma:the diagnosis is considered first, followed by the prognosis, choice of treatment, and treatment itself.
Clinically Important Subtypes of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Unlike the related disorder Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin'slymphoma has a firmly established cellular origin with morphologicsubtypes . . . [Full Text of this Article]
