The Holy Grail or Golden Fleece, if you prefer continually sought by clinical educators is an excellent textbook for junior students to use during their initial clerkship in a discipline. It must be more than a cookbook but less than an encyclopedia, a book that reflects the excitement, breadth, and depth of the field without overwhelming the novice. Like Ponce de León, we seek a fountain of knowledge that will quench thirst while unleashing youthful curiosity. Such a book can make our role as teachers more rewarding and help us to stay eternally young as physician-teachers. This book
