Dissection of the Ascending Thoracic Aorta . The title of the Image in Clinical Medicine should have been "Dissection of the Descending Thoracic Aorta," and the legend should have read as follows:

A dissecting aneurysm of the descending segment of the thoracic aorta was diagnosed by two-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography. The horizontal imaging plane is just distal to the aortic arch and shows a separation of the true lumen (TL) and the false lumen (FL) of the dissecting aneurysm.
