Molecular Cardiovascular Medicine, a recent addition to the Scientific American series of medical publications, is, like other books from this publisher, well packaged, with illustrations that add substantially to the worth of the text. The 20 chapters have been written by a dazzling array of highly accomplished investigators, who have made important contributions to the fields they review. This impressive list of contributors is a tribute to the editor, Dr. Edgar Haber. Dr. Haber has been a visionary in molecular cardiology and continues to be an imaginative investigator at the most fundamental level.
