Figure 1. A 45-year-old man was found by police aimlessly wandering busy streets in a city 150 miles (240 km) from his home. He was confused and disoriented, but there was no evidence of substance abuse. His family was contacted and reported that he had recently been emotionally labile and moody, had abruptly severed relations with them, had often missed work, and had been arrested for erratic driving.
