To the Editor: Testicular lesions containing adrenal-like tissuecan be found in some males with congenital adrenal hyperplasia.1These lesions are often multifocal and bilateral.2 A young womanwith congenital adrenal hyperplasia in whom virilization persistedafter adrenalectomy was assumed to have adrenal-like cells inher ovaries, but their presence was not confirmed.3
We report here on a girl with congenital adrenal hyperplasiain whom ovarian tissue was found to contain adrenal-like tissuewhose function was inhibited by dexamethasone.
