Editor's note: We have received inquiries about possible financial conflicts of interest with respect to an article published in the Journal five years ago, "Prophylactic Administration of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Immune Globulin to High-Risk Infants and Young Children," by Groothuis et al. (Nov. 18, 1993;329:1524-30). We asked Dr. Groothuis, the corresponding author, to clarify whether any authors had conflicts of interest at the time this study was done.
