To the Editor: Morelon et al. (July 20 issue)1 described threepatients in whom interstitial pneumonitis was thought to berelated to sirolimus therapy, because it occurred during therapyand resolved after sirolimus was discontinued and because othercauses were absent.
To date, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has receivedreports of 34 cases of interstitial pneumonitis that were temporallyassociated with sirolimus therapy (including the 3 describedby Morelon et al.).
