To the Editor: Implantation of an intraocular lens is the standard technique for visual rehabilitation in cataract surgery. We report the case of a patient with spontaneous relocation of a dislocated intraocular lens during a roller-coaster ride. An eight-year-old boy underwent implantation of a posterior-chamber intraocular lens and a peripheral iridectomy for traumatic cataract. The pseudophakic eye reached a visual acuity of 20/20. At 19 years of age, after having been struck in the right eye, the patient noticed an irregularly shaped pupil. Visual acuity decreased to 20/25.
