To the Editor: Kyle and Rajkumar state in their review article (Oct. 28 issue)1 that use of bisphosphonates for the prevention of skeletal-related events and the treatment of hypercalcemia in patients with multiple myeloma may be complicated by osteonecrosis of the jaw.
