To the Editor: The article by Bosset and colleagues (Sept. 14 issue)¹ provides support for the use of adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with locally advanced rectal cancer. However, information on nodal status and the extent of mesorectal invasion would have helped to characterize the role of neoadjuvant therapy in these patients.
