To the Editor: We wish to alert readers to two errors in Table 1 in our article on lamotrigine for generalized seizures associated with the Lennox–Gastaut syndrome (Dec. 18 issue).1 First, the information on the number of patients in each group is incorrect. Second, the last sentence of the note to this table attributes the mean doses and numbers of patients to the wrong patient groups. These errors are corrected in the revised Table 1.

Table 1. Lamotrigine Dosing Schedule.

In addition, Figure 1 in our article shows the percentages of patients with reductions in seizure frequency rather than median changes from base line, as stated in the legend. The first part of the legend to Figure 1 should read, "Percentages of Patients with >=50 Percent, 26 to 49 Percent, or 0 to 25 Percent Reductions from Base Line in the Frequency of All Types of Major Seizures, Drop Attacks, and Tonic–Clonic Seizures during the 16-Week Treatment Period."

The errors in Table 1 and the legend to Figure 1 do not alter the methods, results, or discussion. We appreciate the opportunity to correct these errors.
