Whither Continuity of Care? . On page 851, the first sentence in the right-hand column should have read, "By definition, hospitalists hired to care for patients formerly cared for by residents do not teach the residents or medical students (other hospitalists, such as those hired by health maintenance organizations and practice groups, may teach, but teaching is generally not a high priority)," not "By definition, hospitalists do not teach the residents or medical students," as printed. We regret the error.
