Biologic Therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis . On page 1640, the sentence that begins five lines from the bottom of the right-hand column should have read, "The finding of demyelinating syndromes is of interest, and perhaps not totally unexpected, since inhibition of TNF has been associated with worsening in patients with multiple sclerosis," not "inhibition of TNF-beta," as printed. Also, on page 1641, the sentence that begins on line 10 of the left-hand column should have read, "Practical considerations such as the frequency or route of administration (twice-weekly subcutaneous injections in the case of etanercept and intermittent intravenous infusions in the case of infliximab) or the need for concomitant methotrexate therapy in patients who receive infliximab may factor into the decision," not "in patients who receive etanercept," as printed.
