Supplementary Video. Echocardiogram Obtained on the First Hospital Day.

There is thickening of the posterior left ventricular free wall (PW) and septum (IVS) and of the right ventricular wall. The left ventricle (LV) is small, suggesting volume depletion despite aggressive fluid resuscitation. There is a moderate pericardial effusion (PE). RV denotes right ventricle, and LA left atrium.
