Calcium plus Vitamin D Supplementation and the Risk of Colorectal Cancer . On page 684, lines 2 through 4 under Methods should have read, "18,176 women received 500 mg of elemental calcium as calcium carbonate with 200 IU of vitamin D₃ twice daily (1000 mg of elemental calcium and 400 IU of vitamin D₃)," rather than "500 mg of calcium carbonate . . . twice daily (1000 mg . . . total)," as printed. On page 685, lines 5 through 7 under Randomization, Blinding, and Intervention should have read, "500 mg of elemental calcium as calcium carbonate . . . twice daily (total, 1000 mg of elemental calcium . . . )," rather than "500 mg of calcium carbonate . . . twice daily (total, 1000 mg)," as printed. On page 691, line 2 of the Discussion section should have read, "daily supplementation with 1000 mg of elemental calcium as calcium carbonate," rather than "1000 mg of calcium carbonate," as printed.
