Video 1. Telemedicine-Enabled Evaluation of a Patient with Symptoms of Acute Stroke.

Components of the NIHSS evaluation are administered by a stroke neurologist (lower right picture-in-picture) by means of an interactive, high-speed videoconferencing system (PolyCom).
