Oral Contraceptives in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus — A Tough Pill to Swallow? . On page 2603, in the left-hand column, lines 14 through 16 of the first full paragraph should have read, "Patients were excluded if they had moderate-to-high titers of anticardiolipin antibodies (>40 units) [or] evidence of a lupus anticoagulant," rather than "if they had anticardiolipin antibodies (>40 units) [or] were taking a lupus anticoagulant," as printed. We regret the error.
