A boy six years and two months old was admitted to the hospital because of sexual precocity, polyostotic fibrous dysplasia, and cafe-au-lait spots.
The boy was born after a 37-week, uncomplicated pregnancy to a 23-year-old primigravida; he was delivered by cesarean section because of failure to progress and a decrease in the heart rate noted on the fetal monitor; the birth weight was 2.66 kg.
