The cover of A Textbook of in Vitro Fertilization and Assisted Reproduction promises to detail the teachings of the Bourn Hall Clinic -- the in vitro fertilization (IVF) clinic founded by Drs. Patrick Steptoe and Robert Edwards in 1980, two years after the birth of the world's first "test-tube" baby in their clinic. But you can't judge a book by its cover.
