Adashi and Leung have compiled an outstanding group of chapters by leading authorities on the physiology, molecular biology, and clinical disorders of the ovary. Their book is an invaluable compendium for serious students. Each chapter extends the breadth of understanding of this intricate and exquisitely integrated organ, whose physiologic effects are as varied as its embryologic origins.
