To the Editor: Ridzon et al. (March 27 issue)1 report a caseof the transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) andhepatitis C virus (HCV) from a single source, followed by unusuallylong times to seroconversion for both viruses. We report a similarcase, but one in which transmission was followed by seroconversiontimes similar to those previously described for HIV 2 and forHCV.3
