To the Editor: Travelers to remote destinations may not haveaccess to immediate medical care in case of an emergency. Contact-lenswearers, in particular, should take precautions, since theyare susceptible to serious microbial keratitis.1,2,3,4 We describetwo patients in whom corneal ulcers developed while they werevacationing in remote areas.
