To the Editor: The report by Boden et al. (June 18 issue)1 on the outcomes of patients with acute non–Q-wave myocardial infarction (the Veterans Affairs Non–Q-Wave Infarction Strategies in Hospital [VANQWISH] trial) is a welcome and important addition to our understanding of the care of this group of patients whose treatment and prognosis have been controversial.2
