Authors can now submit manuscripts to the Journal electronically. This option is possible with a new, secure system for electronic submission that can be found in the section for authors on our Web site (http://www.nejm.org/hfa/). Electronic submission is possible for almost all types of manuscripts. For Images in Clinical Medicine, however, submission must still be by mail, given the importance of the quality of the photographs. By whatever means a manuscript is submitted, it must meet all of the Journal 's usual criteria.
