Annual influenza epidemics are like Minnesota winters all are challenges, but some are worse than others. No matterhow well we prepare, some blizzards take quite a toll. Eachyear, despite our efforts to increase the rates of influenzavaccination in our most vulnerable populations, unpredictablefactors largely determine the burden of influenza disease andrelated deaths.
