To the Editor: After we submitted our letter about thunderstorms and iPods to the Journal (July 12 issue),1 other authors from our hospital published a separate report about the same case,2 unbeknownst to us when we submitted our letter. Their report was published in May, 3 months after we completed the literature search for our letter. We regret this duplication. We were unaware of the other author group.
