A 40-year-old man presented with a 3-day history of increasing abdominal pain. On physical examination, rebound tenderness was present, and both hip joints were fixed in flexion state with no range of motion. Plain abdominal radiography showed ileus, as well as the presence of ankylosis of both sacroiliac joints (black arrows) and both hip joints (black arrowheads) and the presence of bamboo spine (white arrow).
